How did you get infected with the plague???

    You were infected with plague bacteria that lived in your blood. For most of the time only rats had the plague. But in some years, plague levels were increasing rapidly!!!!! The rats were infested with fleas that survived by sucking the blood of the infected rats.

    EWWW!!!!!!! That's gross, but true! The fleas sucked up some of the plague bacteria, which multiplied in the fleas gut. The fleas also bit humans, which gave the horrible disease to the humans. After that happened the medieval people who had the Back Death gave it to other medieval people. The plague bacteria multiplied In the infected peoples bloodstream even faster then it did in the fleas guts. don't you just love learning about guts and rats and fleas?!?!
